Unbelievable
CRAIG DAVID

Always said I would know where to find love
Always thought I'd be ready and strong enough
But some times I just felt I could give up
But you came and changed my whole world now
I'm somewhere I've never been before
Now I see, what love means

It's so unbelievable
And I don't want to let it go
Something so beautiful
Flowing down like a waterfall
I feel like you've always been forever a part of me
And it's so unbelievable to finally be in love

Somewhere I'd never thought I'd be
In my heart, in my head, it's so clear now
Hold my hand you've got nothing to fear now
I was lost and you've rescued me some how
I'm alive, I'm in love you complete me, And I've never been here before.
Now I see, what love means

When I think of what I have, and this chance I nearly lost
I cant help but break down, and cry.

Now I see, what love means

hello.. hello

D'SOUND

I am the one who believes in all that you say
I am the one who never wants to define herself
I am the one who’s parallel, upfront, behind
I am the one paddling like crazy through the night
Refine, old time, colourblind
Big sign, do time, doesn’t rhyme
A lot, to much, standing tall
And I’m crying in the valley:“I shall never, ever fall!”
People are people and I feel so strong
People are people and I’m going on
I am the onewho stirs it up everytime
I am the one who never knows how close she is
I am the one who’d rather be dead than confess
I am the onetrying to be good, wanting to be bad and so on
Excess, temptress, big mess
Phoney, lonely, it’s a test
Be still my heart, don’t you fail
And I’m crying on the stagefloor:“I will always prevail!”
I’m going on…

crazy day!

one afternoon

i enjoyed the heat of the sun cheering for those little but strong legs who played so hard to win a goal. i envied the dedication these girls have for every game that they've played, how fearless they were in facing their opponents never intimidated by height nor strength. Ive seen how exhausted they were.... game after game after game... but still they stood for every call.

then the day was over... they may never made it to the top but they played a fair and nice and inspiring game and that's the best part.

a quesadilla, a smile, a hug, a picture for a new friendship and a new life!

Wag Na Init Ulo BaBy

Malapit na akong matunaw
Sa init ng iyong ulo
Muntikan pa akong masugatan
Sa talas ng pagtitig mo

Pumapangit ka na naman
Easy nakakahawa yan
Akoy nakikiusap lang

Wag na init ulo baby (baby)
Dinggin mo please payong ito
Inom tubig nood ng tv
Gaan bigla problema mo

Hindi naman kinakailangan
Na ngumiti agad agad
Tsaka na tayo magpalitan
Ng I love you I swear to God
Alam na natin yun di ba
Maubos na mga tala
Akoy andito lang sinta

Wag na init ulo
Wag na init ulo
Wag na init ulo baby
Pap pap pap parara parara

life's full of shit

-an email from my friend and colleague jerome yap (tnx buddy!)

A turkey was chatting with a bull.

"I would love to be able toget to the top of that tree," sighed the turkey, "but I haven't got the energy."

"Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?" replied the bull."They're packed with nutrients."The turkey pecked at a lump of dung, and found it actually gave him enough strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree.

The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch. Finally after a fourth night, the turkey was proudly perched at the top of the tree. He was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot him out of the tree.

Lesson: Bullshit might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there

A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold, the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field.
While he was lyingthere, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him. As the frozen bird laythere in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was. The dungwas actually thawing him out!
He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy.

A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.

Lesson: Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy.
Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.
And when you're in deep shit, it's best to keep your mouth shut!

viva vigan!

sa iilang araw ng leave ko eh sa banaue sana ang punta kaya lang night before the start of my vacation leave eh kumontra ang tenga ko at nagdugo me kung anong infection at hole daw sa eardrums kaya pinagbawalan ako ng doktor na umakyat ng bundok, sumakay ng eroplano, kumain ng chocolates, mag face powder, at kung anu-ano pa and so we've decided to put that banaue/sagada trip on hold until my ears will get better and agreed to visit vigan. well... kung sa mapa titingnan ang layo na ng vigan sa aking pinagmulan kumbaga eh nasa magkabilang dulo ng pilipinas na.

i enjoyed the vigan trip very much kahit na nga eh kumikirot ang tenga, grabe ang ubo at non stop ang sipon ko. vigan really is a heritage city sabi ko nga eh vintage vigan as in magmumukhang walang ka kwenta kwenta ang bahay mo kung bagong pintura ito at modern ang architectural design dahil doon mas luma eh mas sikat. kaya nga marami sa mga bagong bahay doon ang sinsadyang me tuklap kunwari ang semento ng haligi para makita ang bricks para naman eh ma in sa makalumang tema ng ciudad fernandina pero yun nga lang eh nagmumukhang tanga dahil halatang japeyk.

sa unang araw ng aking vigan trip eh diretso kaagad sa palengke para naman matikman ang mga local dishes dun at natupad naman dahil nung umaga ding yun eh nakapag papaitan at sinanglao kaagad ako. me kakanin express pa na patupat at pinipig na lang ang maalala kong mga pangalan pero everything else was equally delicious. the very first ilocano word ive learned? ADING! which i find so sweet and so amusing parang ang lambing pakinggan: ading.... ading.... hehehehe

i got the chance to visit some of the musueums in vigan me bahay ni burgos, bahay ng mga crisologo, arzobispado at of course ang mapasyalan ang famous crisologo street na kung saan nakalinya ang mga bahay na bato na me mga antique shops, tindahan ng mga pasalubong, funeraria, hotel at kung anu-anu pa sa mga ilalim ng nga bahay na ito. hinding hindi ka rin mauubusan ng masasakyan sa vigan dahil sa dami ng mg trike duun meron ding mga kalesang nag uunahan sa pag offer sayo ng masasakyan.

that may be my firts and last trip to vigan

i enjoyed the trip, the company at of kors ang pagkain!

  • pinapait at sinanglao- pwedeng sa palza burgos o di kaya sa palengke either of which eh parehong masarap
  • vigan longganisa- something that vigan should be proud of!

carbocistine

kaya ngayon na i have both colds and cough eh hirap na hirap ako
nakakahiya ring umubo in public lalo na kapag me tunog plema

Cool

It's hard to remember how it felt before
Now I found the love of my life...
Passes things get more comfortable
Everything is going right

And after all the obstacles
It's good to see you now with someone else
And it's such a miracle that you and me are still good friends
After all that we've been through
I know we're cool

We used to think it was impossible
Now you call me by my new last name
Memories seem like so long ago
Time always kills the pain

Remember Harbor Boulevard
The dreaming days where the mess was made
Look how all the kids have grown
We have changed but we're still the same
After all that we've been through
I know we're cool

And I'll be happy for you
If you can be happy for me
Circles and triangles, and now we're hangin' out with your new girlfriend
So far from where we've been
I know we're cool

tnx paghord!

jellyace

i almost died of fear two nights ago......

thanks to the lady who sat beside me, for the hug and the jellyace she offered to comfort me

to the imam who prayed for our safety (kahit in muslim yun at di ko naintindihan pero ininterpret naman niya for us)

thanks to daniel who answered my call when i was in panic and needed someone to talk to so as to calm and prevent myself from jumping off the boat, for the jokes and tips on how to survive and for passing the phone to idak so that she could also talk to me....

to idak for laughing out her nervousness for me and telling me 'kaya mo yan che!"

salamat ke romel for making me promise not to ride that boat again.

sa lahat ng pasahero who kept on reminding each other na panatilihing timbang ang boat kundi sama-sama kaming malulunod....

sa crew ng M/V Nora (.....) who were honest enough to warn us that something was really wrong by giving us our respective lifejackets...

You Owe Me Nothing In Return

I'll give you countless amounts of outright acceptance if you want it
I will give you encouragement to choose the path that you want if you need it
You can speak of anger and doubts your fears and freak outs and I'll hold it
You can share your so-called shame filled accounts of times in your life and I won't judge it
(and there are no strings attached to it)
You owe me nothing for giving the love that I give
You owe me nothing for caring the way that I have
I give you thanks for receiving it's my privilege
And you owe me nothing in return
You can ask for space for yourself and only yourself and I'll grant it
You can ask for freedom as well or time to travel and you'll have it
You can ask to live by yourself or love someone else and I'll support it
You can ask for anything you want anything at all and I'll understand it
(and there are no strings attached to it)
You owe me nothing for giving the love that I give
You owe me nothing for caring the way that I have
I give you thanks for receiving it's my privilege
And you owe me nothing in return
I bet you're wondering when the next payback shoe will eventually drop
I bet you're wondering when my conditional police will force you to cough up
I bet wonder how far you have now danced you way back into debt
This is the only kind of love as I understand it that there really is
You can express your deepest of truths even if it means I'll lose you and I'll hear it
You can fall into the abyss on your way to your bliss I'll empathize with
You can say that you have to skip town to chase your passion I'll hear it
You can even hit rock bottom have a mid-life crisis and I'll hold it
(and there are no strings attached)
You owe me nothing for giving the love that I give
You owe me nothing for caring the way that I have
I give you thanks for receiving it's my privilege
And you owe me nothing in return

come ala bora

one thing really nice about bora is not the beach, (yep contrary to what is written in travel books that the water is so clear and that the sand is so fine well it really doesn't differ from that of what siquijor beaches have to offer!)but the nightlife, the fun and of course the food! well in a small island like boracay eh andun na nga halos lahat ng cuisine na gusto mong kainin.... at dahil nakapunta ako dun (kahit lean season dahil rainy season) eh nasubukan ko ang iilan sa mga "to die for" foods sa tinatawag nilang island of paradise:

  • Gastof (station 2)- well this restaurant is known for their yummy baby back ribs daw pero di yun ang natikman ko dito kundi ang fried prawn in garlic and butter at ang grilled kitang na masarap din naman.
